ARCHITECTURE & SIGNAL FLOW [SYS.01]

BitKrunch is a proprietary, non-linear audio mastering engine built on 64-bit floating-point architecture. Unlike standard limiters, our DSP chain emulates the harmonic saturation of vintage tube hardware combined with the surgical precision of modern digital look-ahead maximization.

OPERATING PROCEDURE

  • Drag and drop your uncompressed WAV files (16/24/32-bit).
  • Select your Mastering Persona (Sonic Character).
  • Authorize the transaction securely via PayPal.
  • The engine analyzes the track's crest factor and applies adaptive processing.
  • Processed assets are delivered immediately via direct downlink.

RESOURCE ALLOCATION COSTS [SYS.02]

  • Standard Mastering Protocol: $4.99 / track
  • High-Res Bit Depth (24-bit / 32-bit Float): +$2.50
  • High-Res Sample Rate (48kHz / 96kHz): +$2.50

TROUBLESHOOTING / FAQ [SYS.03]

  • Upload Capacity? The intake buffer accepts files up to 100 MB.
  • Processing Latency? Typical compile time is under one minute.
  • Data Privacy? Strict volatility protocol. Input/output wiped after 10 mins.
  • Format Support? Strictly .WAV files.
  • Refund Policy? All credit insertions are final once processing begins.

ABOUT BITKRUNCH -- ONLINE AUDIO MASTERING & DSP TOOLS

Online Audio Mastering

BitKrunch is a browser-based audio mastering service that processes your uncompressed WAV files through a professional-grade DSP chain -- including multiband compression, harmonic excitation, stereo widening, adaptive EQ, and true-peak limiting -- in under a minute. No DAW required. Upload, select a mastering persona, and download a release-ready master.

Convolution Reverb IR Generator

IMPULSE creates custom impulse response WAV files for use in convolution reverb plugins. Choose from six filter topologies -- Dark Plate (LP), Thin Air (HP), Boxy Room (BP), Diffusion (AP), Muddy (LP8), and Warped (AP2) -- and adjust decay time up to 20 seconds. Compatible with any convolution reverb loader in Pro Tools, Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, and Reaper.

Dub Delay IR Generator

DUB_CORE generates convolution-based dub delay impulse responses. Control BPM sync, note division (1/4, 1/8, dotted 1/8, 1/16), tape flutter, and harmonic saturation drive. Load the output WAV directly into your DAW's convolution reverb to achieve authentic tape-echo and dub delay character on any signal.

Plate Reverb IR Generator

PLATES synthesises metallic plate reverb impulse responses with adjustable plate dimensions, decay time, modal density, and filter character. Ideal for snare drums, vocals, and classical instruments. Outputs 24-bit WAV files compatible with all major convolution reverb plugins including Altiverb, Waves IR1, Valhalla, and Logic Space Designer.

Analog Saturation IR Generator

ANALOG IR synthesises saturation impulse responses via exponential sine sweep, multiband dynamic elliptical saturation with hysteresis memory, bit crushing, and sample rate reduction -- deconvolved to extract the true nonlinear impulse response. Each render is unique. Output: 24-bit WAV at 48 kHz.

Bass Line Generator

BASS_CORE generates royalty-free bass line WAV samples using algorithmic synthesis. Set your root note, tempo, and synthesis architecture -- Sub Bass, Reese, Acid 303, Neuro, or Minimal Tek -- and render single shots or batch packs of up to 100 unique bass lines for use in any DAW or sampler.

Vintage Reverb IR Generator

VINTAGE generates true stereo impulse responses modelled on vintage digital reverb units using a Schroeder topology with randomised biquad EQ chains, stereo cross-feedback networks, and natural LFO modulation. Each render is unique. Use in any convolution reverb to add authentic vintage digital reverb character.

Mastering Personas

  • Transparent -- neutral, clean, minimal coloration

Frequently Asked Questions

What file format should I upload for mastering?
Upload uncompressed WAV files at 16-bit, 24-bit, or 32-bit float. Leave at least 3-6 dB of headroom before uploading -- do not normalise or limit your mix before mastering.

How long does online mastering take?
Processing typically completes in under 60 seconds for tracks up to 10 minutes. Longer files or high-res (96 kHz) output may take up to 2 minutes.

Are the impulse responses royalty-free?
Yes. All WAV files generated by BitKrunch -- impulse responses, bass lines, and MIDI files -- are royalty-free for commercial and non-commercial use.

What loudness target should I use for streaming?
Spotify and YouTube normalise to -14 LUFS integrated. Apple Music normalises to -16 LUFS. Tidal and Amazon Music HD normalise to -14 LUFS. BitKrunch targets -14 LUFS by default with true-peak limiting at -1 dBTP.

Is my audio stored after processing?
No. All uploaded files and processed outputs are automatically deleted from BitKrunch servers within 10 minutes of generation. Nothing is retained, analysed, or used for training.
